Mr. Glenn Franklin Merritt age 65, of Aulander, NC passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home.
He was the son of the late Ervin Francis Merritt Jr. and Evelyn Lucille Worley Merritt. He was a retired roofer.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Bristow of Aulander, his grandson, Ethan C. Bristow of Aulander, his former wife, friend and caregiver, Sylvia Powell of Aulander and a step daughter, Shelia Matthews. Also his sisters, Loretta Richardson and Darlene Roy his brothers, Wesley Merritt and John Merritt.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate Glenn’s Life will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander, NC with Rev. Gregg Hurdle officiating.
The family will receive after the service at the funeral home and other times at 114 Sandpiper Square, Aulander, NC.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
