Mrs. Beatrice Furr Barrow age 88, of Jackson, NC passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Barrow was born September 11, 1928 in Stanley County, NC, daughter of the late John Henry Furr and Sarah Cleonia Burris Furr.
She was also predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Barrow Jr. and a grandson, Gregory Neal Davis.
She is survived by her children Wayne Barrow (Valeria) of Emerald Isle, NC, Darlene Britton (Pete) of Pendleton, NC, Mary Vann (Connie) of Conway, NC, Jimmy Barrow ( Becky) of Jackson, NC and Nancy Davis (Neal) of Valentines, VA. Eight Grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Four sisters,
Rachel Liles, Trullie Smith, Hazel Little and Jane Little (Jack). Four sister-in-laws, Grace Furr, Autie Furr, Peggy Furr and Margaret Furr. Also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson, NC with Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson, NC.
