Esther Elaine Curley Underwood age 63 of Ahoskie, NC passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Esther was born May 16, 1953 in Murfreesboro, NC, the daughter of the late Fred Cyril Curley Jr. and Mattie Knight Curley.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Marie Brinkley. a sister, Donna Faye DeBerry. two brothers, Fred Chester Curley and Ernest Wayne Curley. Three grandchildren, Matthew Cole Evans, Katelynn Marie Evans and Ashley Elizabeth Lassiter.
The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander, NC, Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and also on Friday, from 5:00 until 8:00 Pm at the home of her brother Ernest Wayne Curley.
In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of one’s choice.
